Final Project and Data Links

All done! I liked this map-maybe I'd decrease legend a bit and change hat icon colors for more contrast between the public and private schools.

Lab 10: Bivariate Map

This map process was very tedious for me. The result doesn't seem as good as my effort. Regardless, the map is unusual and does a nice job of highlighting density around NC metro areas (e.g., Charlotte & Research Triangle).
Obviously, the tilting the state "experiment" did not work and next time I would import better architecture (house) images for more professional display...
Onward to the final project!

Thursday

Color Choropleth Map

There appears to be a little color difference between web version and printed copy of map. The web colors appear more brown. I like both color schemes (halloween/fall)......waning years?

Saturday

West Virginia Dot Density Map

Here's my dot density map representing the Irish population by county in West Virginia.

Proportional Symbol Map

Unfortunately, my first map got lost in cyberspace?? Houses much nicer....

Tri-State Map

Here is my Tri-State Area map. Finally, able to post (didn't work first time) to blog. Enjoy!

This isn't perfect...but I hope it works.
